I built it with angle iron, bar stock, and pipe. The cast iron wheels were taken from 2" casters. It is welded together. The wood is pine, stained with Minwax provincial, followed by wipe on polyurethane. It measures 39" long by 18" wide and stands 19" tall.

My blog post about the project...

My wife likes it. She loves the "industrial look", and I think it goes well with our English tudor style home. Here is a picture of the first coffee table I built for her. It is a reproduction of an antique warehouse cart and is located in our living room...

I like those coffee tables a lot. I would be proud to have both of them in my living room. They would not fit in some decorating styles but that is their loss. Your wife has good taste. My nephew has an antique warehouse cart that they have restored in their living room and it looks great as well. Thanks for sharing the photo's with us.
