New Grizzly Offering
« on: December 31, 2011, 08:55:40 PM »
Just received a copy of the 2012 Grizzly Catalog. On page 550 I found this little number. Tried to look at it on line and the stock number is not on line yet. I will be interested in seeing how well it is received by the users.

That's actually pretty cool.  It'll be interesting to see the reports of just how useable it is.

Boy Joe, you just shot my 2012 machine buget all to hell.

I won't mind having a horizontal mill. I now have to decide between two new Sherline models and a Grizzly. Might really break the buget and get both.

Let's see what can I get for the "wife". Naw, I'd probably have to pay for somebody to take her.  :wack:  :hammer:  :wack:  :hammer: "Yes dear, I'm sorry I said that. Dinner to night?"  :palm:

Gosh Bernd. I didn't realize that you liked to live that dangerously. Even I can't get away with remarks like that and I'm not married.

By the way, how is the Shay progressing?  :poke: :poke:

Cheers

Don,

The reason I can get away with it is she dosen't have an account here or reads any of the threads. If she did I'd be single too.

Aww, ya, the Shay. Not progressing very well. The HO model railroad bug has it's teeth firmly sung into my butt right now. Who knows what next month may bring. See each bug gets it's turn to sink it's teeth in. Kind of makes life more interesting.

Just as long as you realize the risks... or benifits.

I couldn't agree more on that point. After all we are doing this for fun not work. That's why when I had a woodworking shop and someone asked me what I made, I said "sawdust and whatever else I feel like". Keep on having fun.

Not much room between the chuck and table, doubt you could even get a vice in there.

If your thinking with a swivel base I have to agree. I think one of those two seperate halfs that bolt to the T slots would be the way to go.
