Don't want to be too much of a wet blanket, but if you keep your keys in your pocket, the light won't get to them to charge up the glow powder. And if you leave them lying around to charge up in daylight, you are more likely (at my age) to forget where you put them, and might have to wait until it goes dark before you can find them again...

Troy,
You will be upto this level in no time at all  I've only been back on the machines for 5 years.
The last time before that was 15 years before in college.... 4hrs a week for a year! I made a centre finder, a toolmakers clamp, a tap wrench and a die holder.... So long ago! :bugeye: I'm getting old!
You're on a new learning curve.... But you're in a good place to get some knowledge. loads of talented guys on here
You'll be fine... You're one of us now :borg: :)
Andy... I keep my keys on a hook when they're not in general use. They get light from the window so it's all good.
They do glow in pitch black for 12hrs! just turn the lights off and shut the curtains/blinds! :)
Dave... Stop egging him on :poke:
Ralph.
