To travel on buses trains or other modes of public transport in the UK (and I'm sure everywhere else in the world) requires the purchase of a valid ticket..
Failure to produce such on demand
could/will/should result in the offending passenger being
ejected/removed/thrown off/out of, the
train/tram/bus/railcar etc...Unless he/she is prepared to purchase said item for the duration of the journey being undertaken
The ticket inspector is there to ensure that passengers are in possesion of said item and if not carry out the appropriate action as above..
Sounds harsh? Not really, as a fair paying passenger why should others travel for free?
Maybe not Christmas spirited...
But this happened before the Advent period and applies all year round...
Nothing is for free.......Everything else has a price..
