Some ideas are ahead of their time. I wonder what happened to it.

In the video, they were promoting it as a workhorse and community transport vehicle. Today, you could sell it as the latest toy. Add it to the jetski and the Harley.

The most current version of this I have seen is the Russian Zil.




To the best of my knowledge it is not currently in use though. Still a very interesting mode of transportation.

Hmmmm... my little Yanmar tractor.... an hydraulic pump.... some pipe and some meh.... nevermind. I would never finish it.

Nice vehicle I am sure i saw some team on scrapheap challenge do a very similar machine but for a amphibious challenge i think. I tried to find it but couldnt.

I remember a video of a Ford Model T with corkscrews similar to the ones on this machine. It was making the rounds on this site and Home Model Engine Machinist.
