No not bullets I'm afraid. Lead weights for salmon fishing. Screw together and stick in oven until suitably warm, pour in molten lead and then dip in cold water to cool down (obviously keeping water away from molten lead), made that mistake...................once!

Very nice. I think you'll do just great at more complicated projects.

Oh, by the way, we need a picture of those lead weights.  :poke:

Unfortunately the moulds were for someone else and don't know when I will be able to get hold of one of the weights, I will see what I can do though.

What do they use in place of lead now that it is banned for weights in angling (in UK) ? or is lead only restricted in certain circumstances...?
