This has the paper dust jacket still on it, the cover is the same picture embossed in an orange cover in blue.

A both sides the pond book on the subject of something like pattern making. Is an interesting thing because of the ramp up to the big one WWII. Was it the case that they needed a book for the classes in the vocational schools right now or just a matter of trying to expand the income producing area of the publishing company.

Again this is a home study/ school text for pattern making:

    * Practical requirements
    * Working medium
    * Hand cutting tools
    * Measuring tools
    * Small tools
    * Machine tools
    * Molding practice
    * Patterns
    * Metal pattern making

Again this one covers the subject in depth, and goes on to cover the pattern making in metal that the other ones just skimmed over. Filled with drawings and black and white photos from the period. It does show the steps in making complicated patterns and cores for all manner of pipe fittings and steam engine parts. Which were still the industrial prime mover at the time.

Raise the Dead!
        Walk on water!
                 Fix a broken heart!
and I'm working on the first two!
