Noitoen:
Hi,

I'm a Geocacher too with 637 founds and 3 hidden. I used to have a snail with a little tube inside. I also have one of those mile markers made out of concrete with some engravings on it just to disguise.
My gps is a Garmin Montana 650t

The more I read about this, the more I want to do it.

I think it would be a fun thing to do with my son.

It's addictive. I find myself and my girls walking the trails in the mountain just for the fun of signing the logbook.

You need to do it.

Also, getting lots of satisfaction in people finding my hides!!
Tony Wells:
It's quite a past-time. Cheap fun for the family. Can get aggravating though, doing a highly rated cache. I haven't done a 5-5 yet though. You should read up on some of the different varieties. There are spinoffs of the hobby (sport??)

Highly recommended for outdoorsy type folks. Or those who need to get outdoors! I think there are over 1.6 million caches worldwide, and 5 million cachers. Join the fun!

There are some really prolific cachers. TeamSnook....MrsCaptainPicard. Over 13-14,000 finds if I remember right. Must be retired is all I an say.
