| Yet another DRO mounted on a mini-lathe |

I have been trying to figure out how to mount my DRO on my lathe. This is what I came up with. I used the mount for the splash guard to mount one side: The other side, I did drill and tap a hole for mounting: The one thing I did that was different was I did not permanently attach the bracket to the lathe saddle. Instead, I used a rare earth magnet from a hard disk: Here is the same thing with a different view: And here is the operator's view of the readout: |
