In the thread "A different approach" I explained how I adapted an iGaging depth gauge for measuring the X and Y axis on my Chinese 12 X 36 lathe. I also have a 7 X 12 so I thought I would design a mount for using the same gauge on it. I have only made the mount for the X axis. Due to the size adapting the same gauge to the Y axis is more of a challenge. I will work on that when I have more time. Here are pictures of what I have made. Gauge mounted on the lathe.
