Nice job, :beer: Just a suggestion If you open it up to 20mm all the way through, the maximum size for the ER32(20mm) stock could go right to the bottom. It would mean making a new 20mm spigot though. Dave |

Thanks for your interest guys. Dave, yes I did go through that idea but the soft end arbor was not big enough where I needed it. So, I decided that I would just use a table mounted 3 or 4 jaw chuck when necessary. The concentricity errors build up so that it is about 0.10mm (0.004") TIR, but this can be reduced to 0.03mm (0.001") with a tap from a soft hammer. Ian |

If you ever have a need to use the full depth, you could shrink fit a larger piece into you arbour. Nice work with what you have done though. :beer: Dave |

Yes Dave, I may do that. It has the advantage of being able to finish machine the spigot diameter on the mill, so getting it more concentric. Ian |
