In the building of the Shay there are many holes that will need tapping. Some will need to be done by lining up by hand other can be done on a tapping stand. I came across this simple design in the October 1997 Projects in Metal. I didn't follow the exact design so I could get it done fast. Here are a couple of pics. Simple and effective. Bernd |
