So have any of you diamond knurled PA66?
Or as a college friend use to say KKK nurl.

Would have thought you will need to use a cut type knurling tool for that.

I tried, on some delrin.
Produced a light pattern, only. But sufficient for my purpose at the time.

I personally haven't done any but the aerospace company up the road pop in and borrow my cut knurler every so often to run some nylon parts.
They reckon it works OK.

I wonder can plastic be given a pebble finish by blasting or tumbling? Gonna have to look into that.

Bead blasting most plastics will only come out matt.
To get any indentation courser media will have to be used.
Cut type knurlers work best on plastics, well on nylon 66 and delrin, but may have to settle for flat peaks.

I wonder if I can run a tumbler of the centre lathe so a cylinder running eccentric?
