Thank you Pete and David D for your nice comments! I think I missed one detail though :bugeye: When creating scales and dials I will need some sort of "depth guide" to limit the lengths of the scribed lines. I havea seen a number of solutions hmmm :coffee:. I will be back with some more later on. BR /Peter |

Hi Peter, The attachment looks great :clap: As to scribing dial lines to length (or different lengths for units, 5s and 10s) I made up a super-crude device shown in the bottom third of this page http://andysmachines.weebly.com/miscellaneous.html . It worked very well. Mike Burdick's method is worth a look, if you haven't already seen it. There's a link to it on my page. Andy |
