No, he's only just bought it (I might get the job of repairing it)
I'll ask what he paid for it.

I wasn't able to ask him directly but according to someone who should know, he paid about $2000 for it. Apparently, the owner felt somewhat ripped off, because of the batteries and broken handle bars, so I guess $2K would be about right for a working one :(
