Thanks guys, just what I've been looking for. Such a setup on my X2 (Conquest) mill will reduce my reliance on my cheap DRO system. As I see it I will be able to do the initial setup using my DRO system and once the stops are positioned I shan't need to rely on my temperamental DROs for repeat travel. It's usually on the back and forth travelling that my DROs decide to throw a wobbly. I shall be trying to adopt the ideas on Mikes Workshop but the fixtures will have to be adjusted to accommodate my DRO installation. http://mikesworkshop.weebly.com/mill-table-stops-and-locks.html John-Som |
