Making a flash light? |

Hi folks, After loosing my second £50 LED flashlight in 12 months I decided I would put the lathe to use and make a new one. I can't find a particularly good source of information on what's involved in making a flashlight from scratch though, there's various websites but none seem that good, and most seem to be about modifying lights rather than making 'em from scratch. Just wondering if anybody knows where I can turn to for info on the various components (like drivers and LEDs and buttons and suchlike)? Cheers, Rich |

As for parts I can recommend this having purchased and received good service there: http://theledguy.chainreactionweb.com/ (The Sandwich Shoppe) Candlepowerforums is a site that can answer many other questions. |

If your browser can handle the massive quantity of photos that Will (wquiles) posts, this thread is a very good place to start. |
