doubleboost:
Hi Got a big bit done it is nearly a runner Time for a fly wheel I had a 8 inch disc with a hole in it about the size i wanted but a bit thin A centre boss was turned up on my boxford The big bit was possible for me to machine but it would have taken a long time Rob Wilson kindly offerd to rough it out for me on his referbished cub lathe (Robs idea of roughing out is different from mine) needless to say it turned out perfect. Time to cut a key way in the crank The proportions are just right Could not resist making it spin around Click the picture Just a ecentric strap and some linkage should have it running John |
