Hi John

Blast from the past   MOWOG ..

On some of the castings .. long time ago a lad I worked with had a ( Morris ???   BMC ??? ) engine to power his Narrow Boat ... I remember MOWOG on that when we rebuilt it ..

Being a Biker I was amazed at pinch bolts on the little end of the con-rod .. No idea whether that was peculiar to the Marine  ...(  canal boats marine ? ) engine or not .

Not a BL fan myself .. had a Marina 1.8 Estate for 7 weeks ... absolute camel ..  :bang:

On my recent visit to your establishment, young Mr. Stilldrillin', I got the impression you were somewhat 'sick and tired' of being 'sick and tired' of oversize DC motors. ???

Or have things changed??

Hi John

Glad to hear it ...

Might I tactfully [ or not ] remind you, your Dynamo remains in residence with a certain Mr. Stilldrillin, who would no doubt be grateful for information on what you propose to do to obtain posession of same ...

Just like a dose of syrup of figs

A real fine engine I recon you'll be putting it to work on something before long.

I was wondering as well but I would venture a guess and say that it means Dave #4 or D4 seeing as there are so many guys named Dave.

My son has 3 close friends that are called Dave. When ever we talk about them we say Dave, D2 or D3. That is the only way we can keep them straight without having to use last names.

Cheers

Dear Baffled of Belper...... Dave BC.

Defor?

Hmmmm....... Glad you asked that, Dave. I think!

Defor..... David! (Surprisingly).
Often used to slip it in to Nightshift Oppo's notes.... "All set for you, again. Just press button". Sort of thing......
Then into emails to friends, as a smile.......

How many Dave/ ids are on here? AND..... To be honest, You are David Daniels. I'm David Jones...... Confusing innit!!

So, Defor has come out of the toy cupboard, and David has been added to the sig. line.....

Confused/ amused? Yeah..... Why not!!  :D

Good 'ere, innit!

Defor.
