Enigne\Frame for my off road buggy |
(1/1) |
jones:
Hi, I've been building an off-road buggy for a while (just started a project log in the projects section) and thought I would put the engine here. It is a 2007 Suzuki GS-500F with only 9,500 km's (5,900 miles). 47hp, oil cooled, twin cylinder, 6 speed manual. The bike as I bought it: Partially stripped down: Engine out: I am putting ordinary car tyres on my buggy to save money, so I think this engine will be enough to do powerslides and drifting, since that's what I enjoy most. |

Hi, I've started a thread in the projects in progress section, but thought I would put pictures of the frame here as well. The frame is almost finished, and I am about to mount the engine. Since taking these photo's I have added a couple more bars to the front end and fully welded the rest of the frame (it is just tacked in these pictures) |
Bernd:
Are you TIG or MIG welding the frame? If I can see right you must be TIGing the frame if that black box is any indication. Bernd |
CrewCab:
Looking forward to seeing more of this build ........ good luck  CC |
Bernd:
Hey did you ever get that buggy finished? Bernd |
