Hi David, nice of you to pop in mate

Due to many years of making / mending things in a cold damp garage, earlier this year I emptied my little (and I do mean little  ::) ) workshop and put in insulation all round, unfortunately progress recently has been slow due to all sorts of other pressures ............ but hopefully, in time I'll get there  :headbang:

Hi David,

Welcome to the only place on the webternet that caters for all makers of all sorts..... and is FRIENDLY  :D

As said....  :mmr:

Now, down to business.... Pictures, information and good conversation is required (the later is not obligatory! just general banter will do  :) )

Glad to know people are willing to join in

Bernd,

Heaters smeters! I'm alright jack!

Just wear 4/5 layers and your toastie.... Oh maybe a hat and some ear warmers too!

Must say I was very unhappy to find the condensation had dripped onto my mill table yesterday and developed into light rust spots!!!!!!!!!!!  :bugeye:
A light polishing with wire wool and a re-apply of oil + a covering with oiled rags should keep that at bay!?!

I have no heater...used to but it would just never turn off in my shop as it is attatched to the garage and that provides generally constant air flow!!

One day when I build a real big shop I'll have it insulated and heated.... It'll be my little piece of paradise :)

Well I feel I've waffled enough!!! ("Oh yes" they say!)

Going to go out and visit my cold little shop now, I have some thinking to do and that's the best place to do it

Ralph.

P.s. I started this post before Bog's and CC.... How slow am I !!??

cold workshop in the UK Bernd, quite normal, hard enough to heat the house  :coffee: has to suffice mostly.
