Thanks guys,they are a fiddle to stick and pick off but look good.
Yes I am using the bin to catch the some of the grit, on this job it caught just over half. Next time I will do away with the workmate and put the bin on the floor on top of a plastic sheet.
The problem I have here is space, I have seen some plans for a fold flat unit to blast in, might go down this line. My shed is 12 by 8 foot and is full to the brim at the moment, got to think about the storage of whatever I make.

I cut the vinyl out using one of these

The vinyl cutter is a fantastic tool, most schools have them but dont do much more than make stickers. In conjunction with the program (Tech soft 2d design) it is a really useful tool.

Got the 2D already V2. but looks like the cutting will have to be at school. not come across a surplus roland stikka yet. oh well draw at home ,memory stick then cut at school. Thanks for the information guys.

Great work.  Thinking about doing designs on windows (or someone's eyeglasses if they were deserving).

Nice work.
Used to blast the silvering off the back of mirrors. I used a rubber paint that was screen printed, had to be very carful with the front!!!
