Hello. I use a union graduate wood lathe, got a short bed and a 50" that I am restoring. Bowls are my fav thing to turn, really relaxing :D I have done a lamp before, didn't long hole bore though. I routed the cable slot and glued the wood together. I have been off the lathe for a while, need to get things sorted out in my shed, I miss turning. Rich |

:D I use an old Myford wood lathe but admittedly not for wood turning, mainly for brush finishing watches cases(3 jaw and 4 jaw Myford chuck medium duty). Bry |
