That's looking great Rob, the milling of the radii is a definite plus, and gives it character.  With that size hopper, it should run for about forever without overheating :ddb: :headbang:  how big is that block before you machine it all out?  I've got to make sure I've got enough raw stock for when I get to it.  Great build, and there's never too many pictures :lol: :beer:  Cheers, Jack

Jack  ,, a lump  1 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 2 3/4"  will do the cylinder block ,,,,  fairly small engine  :med:

Hi Benni ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, its a hit and miss ,, because when the engine is not under load ,, it only fires now and then ,, Fire /hit ,, free wheel for a few revolutions /miss

Made a start on the bearing blocks ,, a bit more 4 jaw chuck work .


I used larger than required stock so the was more to get hold of in the 4 jaw .

the excess on the back face was milled of with a fly cutter .





Still a bit of work to do to them ,,, thats for tomorrow as we have a  day off work in the UK ,,,,,,,,dont you just love the royal family  :ddb: :ddb: :ddb: :ddb: Shop time  :)
