I am not telling you off, but please don't take me on as a role model, there are people on here with lots more skill and experiences than myself.

All I try to do is pass over the basic information that I do have so that it is unbiased and can usually be understood by almost anyone who wants to know about such things that I ramble on about.

I myself, stand in awe of a lot of the free sharing contributors on here, and all are very free with anything you want to know, all you need to do is ask the right questions.

Just before your time at Mildenhall, in the late 60's and very early 70's, I was working as major servicing groundcrew at the old American air base of RAF Brize Norton, mainly working on a slightly larger flying machine than the C130 (Hercules), the Shorts 'Belfast' and also the VC10. The one I have shown at the bottom is at RAF Cosford Museum, and is one of the ones I used to scramble and climb all over.

But as time goes on, those wonderful memories of youth are starting to fade, lots of new memories have happened since then.

Welcome to MadModder. I can see that you have a very impressive list of experience to draw on.We look forward to your participation in the various forms. I am sure that with your experience you may have a few stories to tell (only if your not breaking disclosure rules) that a lot of the members might enjoy hearing when you have the time.
