Nice compact model shop. I really like the CNC machine. Almost got into build one. I still might get into  building one from a cast iron table a freind gave me. I've got the stepper motors and a spare computer board. One day.  :med:

The CNC actualy becomes an addiction.  I am forever modifying or adding to it.  My biggest surprise was what a could actually cut on it, bearing in mind MDF/aluminuim/steel tubing fame, modified drawer slides and allthread as leadscrews.  Cuts aluminium at up to 400mm/min 0.5mm depth of cut, with plastics (my main material of use) it actuly moves to slow.  Working on a slower(yes slower) spindle to try and compensate for that. And better leadscrews, and , and ......
