2" Fowler Traction Engine

Thanks for all the kind comments, I'll make sure to keep you all upto date with progress. I had intended this engine to be a long term project with a few smaller items done along the way but seem to have rather concentrated on the Traction Engine ::)

For anyone interested I have taken pictures of most of the individual parts and they are in this album

A stupid question, is anything done by casting or have you done everything by your'e self?  :dremel:

There are approx 50 castings plus some lazer cut parts like the spokes and a few spinnings like the gear gaurd outers and spud pan (dish under axle)

Its getting very close to its finished weight of around 70kg, 150lbs

Unfortunately I have not taken very many in progress pictures on this engine but there are a few here
