Heres a couple of easy but useful lathe projects. The first is a drawbar to allow using MT3 collets in the spindle of the mini lathe for workholding instead of the chuck. The second is a simple arbor (spindle adapter) to allow the mounting of my TAIG lathe chucks (3/4"-16tpi) and to be held in a 5/8" collet on the mini-lathe. These are self explanatory and simple to do projects. Collet sets are cheap and readily available from a number of ebay and internet suppliers. Gerald |
