I had a run in with hard wood a few months ago it made more than my nose itch:- take note of the advice wash hands before using the washroom.

Troutsqueezer:
Thanks again, guys.

Unfortunately I don't have any construction pics. I didn't belong to a forum of any type at the time and didn't see a need to document. I do have a couple pics of a setup I used. I spent a little money and bought an Incra-Jig. It's a fence that you mount on your table saw which is accurate to .001". On one side of the table saw (opposite the saw blade) you mount your router underneath the table. The Incra-Jig can be faced to cut with the table saw or turned 180 and be used for the router fence. It also has parts to the jig to make cutting dovetail and finger joints rather easily.

Wait... one of your hobbies is honey bees? You make your own honey? We need to talk... My 2 favorite things in the world are Maple Syrup and Honey. My brother in-law in N.H. takes care of my maple habit...

You and I need to talk...

Eric

Troutsqueezer:
Hey Eric,

Been keeping bees for a few years now. Oh, that reminds me, here's another box I made....  :D

I won't keep you guessing as to what it is this time.

It's an observation hive I keep out in the shed next to my mill and lathe. I can see what the bees are up to in this hive and then I know what they're doing in my outside hives. That way I know when to feed, when to split, harvest, etc.

This thread sure jumps all over the place huh?

Always wanted to try that. May still do it.
