Hello,
 I'm Charles. Just started doing some metal working. I've done quite a bit of woodworking and decided to give this a try. I've been following most of the build threads on this site and on HMEM for a few weeks and really enjoy watching the progress. I'm in Round Rock TX. Just got and setup a Micro Mark 7x16 lathe and a Micro Mark mill along with with cutting tools, collets, a 4 jaw chuck, etc. Haven't done much yet accept turn and mill a couple of chuck keys for the 4 jaw so I can more easily center round stock.
  Anyway, just wanted to introduce my self.

Hi Eric,
I plan on building ... stuff.
Seriously though I'm looking at some steam engines. Probably compressed air powered for the first couple.

I stayed home on Friday after the snow. It wasn't that much, only about 3", but practically nobody knows how to drive
in snowy/icy conditions in Central TX. Better to stay out of the way. This is the first time in the 16 years we've lived in this house
where the pool froze over. Saturday and today the weather's been very nice highs in upper sixties lower seventies.

Hi Charles and welcome to MadModder. I can see that you have met a few of the chaps and have been looking the site over for a while. We are glad that you have decided to join.
