Just to add a little. I actually bought some of the tang converters from Arc Euro, and they work a treat. http://www.arceurotrade.co.uk/Catalogue/Chucks/Drill-Chuck-Arbors So now you can have the best of both worlds, use the drawbar on the mill, then stick a tang on the end and use it in your tailstock. Finally, just to round this up I drilled and tapped by tailstock casting to fit a lever stop. (just a bolt for now, I'll turn something better up later) The lever was always falling down and jamming against the lathe casting. Now sorted :thumbup: |
