Amazing! Who would have thought a torch could be interesting  |

Thank you guys for your kind words  --- Quote from: ieezitin on January 16, 2011, 06:42:31 PM ---Although I thought orange was a tad crass ( not my torch though and each to his own, and I understand the diving bit with the colour deal ) the finish was great, if and when you go on another adventure of flashlight modding please show a little more on the home DIY powder coating procedure. --- End quote --- It would have not been my first choice either, but it was what the customer wanted. I do have a lot of photos I took on the powder coating part, while I was learning the process, etc., so if I can get some free time I will create a separate post to cover that material. --- Quote from: j45on on January 16, 2011, 08:07:43 PM ---Have you tried adding glow powder to the powder coat ? --- End quote --- I did buy the glow in the dark powder coat additive for powder coating, and have a batch where I mixed it with (if memory serves) White Powder, but I have not had time to try it out yet. Brilliant (pardon the pun) write up, thanks! --- Quote from: wquiles on January 16, 2011, 06:01:59 PM --- --- End quote --- Please, tell me more about this tool - it looks like indexable drill head? |
Bernd:
Ade, It's the modern versionof the "spade drill". Used to drill larger holes faster. The ones I was used to work with had only a center screw to hold them in the holder and they were coated. Bernd |

Looks like a replaceable tip gun drill to me. |
