It would have not been my first choice either, but it was what the customer wanted.  I do have a lot of photos I took on the powder coating part, while I was learning the process, etc., so if I can get some free time I will create a separate post to cover that material.

I did buy the glow in the dark powder coat additive for powder coating, and have a batch where I mixed it with (if memory serves) White Powder, but I have not had time to try it out yet.

Ade,

It's the modern versionof the "spade drill". Used to drill larger holes faster.

The ones I was used to work with had only a center screw to hold them in the holder and they were coated.

Looks like a replaceable tip gun drill to me.
