Well thank you all for your kind comments. I can't wait to get the wall built for the finished engine. KB3RLJ (is that a car reg :scratch:) If you look on page one of the thread there is a picture of the prototype, its on display at Quarry Bank Mill Style Cheshire (try googling it for more info) I contacted the museum for information on the engine and all they could tell me was that it was a "steam engine" :loco: I drew it up from photographs, the model is about 1/3 full size, if you read back through the thread you will find that I've attached drawings for you to down load. I have no plans to drive anything with it, I only intend to run it on air, the pasageways are too narrow for steam running. Thanks for your interest. Stew |
