I saw that engine at this years Cabin Fever show. It is absolutely amazing. It is perhaps one of my favorite steamers. I was drooling all over my hsm issues (or is it MW?)... They have a piece on how he did the steam tube in the back of the engine.

Anybody know of anyone selling the plans to make one of these?

Eric

Thanks for the video!

Bernd:
Your right Eric it's HSM that the article is in. I forgot were I had first seen this engine. If I remember correctly he built the whole thing from pictures. I'm sure he might have drawings. Boy I wish I could remember where I first saw that engine and how he came about building it. It is fantastic work any how.

He is working on a book about the engine and building it with plans. As soon as he tells me that its for sale I will pass the info along.

Here is somebodies 14 second vid of his other engine.

Here is his web site http://www.stationarysteam.com/

I can post pictures of the parts before he assembled them If there is interest.

Glen,

Please do. I will buy one when it is available. I would also like to see the parts as well. I have always had a fondness for the Monitor and Merrimack since I was a wee one.

Eric
