As a small (belated) footnote, I sent Hills an initial £10 order. They sent me the correct brass bar, but the 3/16" m/s rod arrived as 4mm dia! ::) Email requests for correction were ignored.......... :bang: :bang: I returned to Noggin for my further supplies. :thumbup: David D |

I have often wondered when going by a scrap yard if its worth going in to see if they have any good alloy or steel bar or flat..does any body else look in scrap yards,Or is old metal not very good to work with ?? |
