Hello from the Swampland
« on: December 22, 2010, 04:19:50 AM »
Hello Modders!  My name is Dick Lee and I hail from the fenlands of Lincolnshire in the UK. I was an engineering worker for many years until I had to retire because of the effects of a head injury. I have a reasonable workshop with a lathe, drill, usual welding kit and all the measuring and special tools that I accumulated while I was working. I am blessed to have a teenage son who builds computers and shares my passion for dumpster diving in persuit of free project materials. Current projects are: Pre-war metal shaper, Horizontal micro miller, two Norton motorcycles, one Italjet garden MX bike and an air rifle I dug up in the garden. Too many projects is never enough... :med:

Welcome Dick,

I am sure you will dig yourself in well here.

There is only one problem with your last statement, if you get too many projects going, you will never have enough time to finish them all.

I am just taking stock of everything I need to do or finish off, and at least the next twelve months are spoken for, before I can even think of taking on anything else.

But please show us what you are up to, almost anything goes on here as long as it is legal.
