--- Quote from: John Stevenson on October 27, 2010, 08:02:17 AM ---I got one from a young lady telling me I could sue my employer if I'd had an accident at work. in no uncertain terms I told her I WAS the employer and asked he why she could not get a reputable job like a prostitute, at least they have some respect.............. John S. --- End quote --- Subtle as ever...... I hate these parasites that enjoy feeding off other's pain and misery... :coffee: |

--- Quote from: Stilldrillin on October 27, 2010, 09:48:59 AM ---Funny. I've just ignored a "number withheld". As we usually do...... David D --- End quote --- If I see that I answer in my poshest voice. "Sorry but this telephone does not accept caller withheld numbers " and hang up Since I have been doing it the calls have dropped off. John S. |
John Rudd:

--- Quote from: Brass_Machine on October 27, 2010, 10:00:49 AM ---We used to get calls here in the States... "important information about your auto warranty..." trying to sell an extended warranty. A co worker used to get the call 2 or 3 times a day at his desk and cell! Eric --- End quote --- Yup, remember those calls. I finally asked them if they could extend the warranty on my 1985 Lombirgini. They said they couldn't because it was was to old. Everytime there after I changed the vehicles but always a high priced car. I figured what the heck, it's their dime. I love calls like that. I try to keep them on the line as long as possible. It wastes their time. I actually got one of them to hang up on me. :ddb: Bernd |
Powder Keg:
