Bernd:
I found this in Modeltec magazine. It is now defunct, has been since 2002. I was looking for an oscillator engine and came across this piece on Elmer. I thought that the memebership would be interested in the person who has given so much pleasure to the beginners who have built or are going to build a steam/air powerded engine. It's a little bit of history about this well known engine designer/builder. Enjoy. Bernd |
dsquire:
Bernd Thanks for posting the write up of Elmer Verberg. It is always nice to know a bit of the history of the men that designed some of the engines that we love to build and talk about. :D :D Cheers  Don |

Having looked over every one of his plans, I can say that the guy had a true knack for making things simple. That's an art in itself. If it weren't for him, how many of us would be here now? |
Stilldrillin:
Thank you for that Bernd! I knew nothing about the origin of those engine plans...... David D |
