Did anybody else see an advertisement by Cuomo about Carl Paladino on that site? Rather strange for a German site.  :scratch:

I donīt think thereīs anything wrong with your post, quite the contrary. Thatīs an excellent reference about threads. Some of which I never even heard of... 
I think Bernd was expressing his surprise about seeing a local political advertisement from U.S.A., New York state in particular, on a German site. There canīt be many New York state voters among the mostly German visitors to this site. Bernd may well be the only one   :D

I know it seems strange to go half way around the world and see an advertisment for your part of the country. I see the same thing at times for businesses in the Kitchener, Ontario area. I think what happens is they track your ISP # when you connect and then go find business ads from that area and flash them up on the page. I guess it all has to do with the new age of targeted advertising.  :doh:
If they know that you like machining metals, better to show you a picture of a lathe than knitting machine. :lol:
