Hi All Thought a few might be interested in watching a 5 axis at work with a Stone Column. Cheers  Don |

That's quite some machine! And it looked to me like the stone was mounted on a mandrel which was eventually visible, so the final result was three (?) intertwined helices with a hole down the middle. Wow! Andy |

That's pretty neat, Don. Made an interesting thing, too. Do you know how long something like this takes to turn out? In stone, I mean. Dean |
dsquire:
Dean I have no idea how long it would take. I just bumped into that video as I was chasing down something else and thought others might be interested in it as well. It just amazes me what they can do with the cutters, materials and 4 and 5 axis machines. Cheers  Don |
