There are a lot of steam enthusiasts in my area (state), but they are into full sized steamers. Farm traction engines, mostly. At least there are folks keeping it alive. Dean, Even though I'm a member of a toy steam group, I prefer the challenge of the necessary "alchemy/ black magic", needed for hot air and flamelicker engines. Steaming is not that much of a challenge! ::) Re. visiting UK. One member from Indiana, and one from the Virgin Islands are arriving shortly...... If hurricane Earl has not caused too much chaos...... :bugeye: Dave, No motorway for me. I'm going straight across. About an hour..... Worksop, Retford, Gainsborough, (picking up SKIPRAT).
