Well, I can see the link, and have just tried it. Below Paul's signature, and above the "Last Edit" line, it says: BD-LatheTools.pdf (100.96 kB - downloaded 204 times.) I don't think that copy will work as a link. If not, you will have to go back to the first post and try to spot it. Andy |

Thanks for posting this. Sure looks easier than the internal threading tool I ground out of a normal 8mm HSS-Co Blank. It would be easy enough to file a tip radius while it is still in the lathe, to ensure the correct root radius for a specific thread if desired. For the external thread, you could have used the insert tool and jumped from to this ... |
