Hi, my name is Bob Sorenson, here in Las Vegas. My primary interest is miniature live steam. Gauge 1 locomotives, model stationary and marine. Also like to make small copper boilers. The shop equipment includes a Grizzly 9 x 20 lathe (still getting set up), a new style Atlas 6" lathe, small Grizzly mill drill and a Sievert propane-air torch rig for boiler making. Lately been researching home built shop tools. The next project is a Harold Hall lathe tool grinding table. Maybe someday a Brooks Stent TCG. I also do cabinet making and wood models of any kind. Really enjoy going thru the site. So much neat stuff going on here. So many more "unstarted" projects. Bob |
