Rob I don't use the desktop much, but I think some progs can be run under a 'XP SP3' mode. Never used it .. AFAIK Still don't know why you asked? more speed ?? Dave BC EDIT Probably the RAM makes a lot of difference. |
Rob.Wilson:
Hi Dave YEP is it faster ? why have 32 and 64  Rob |
Bluechip:
Dunno, there must BE a reason ?? I got a download a few weeks ago, and it went into the W7 64bit Prog Library, on mine, didn't work. Found out from another electroniccy forum ,I needed summat enabled in the security settings, so the host knew I had 64 bit , and avoided it. Thus putting the download into the W7 32 bit library where it worked .. You got Skype on? my fingers too hot ?? dave BC |
Rob.Wilson:

may be this is a better question What's the benefits of a 64 bit system over a 32 bit system ? and a couple more When you format a hard drive is the data actually gone . can it be retrieved ? How many times can you format a hard drive ? thanks Rob |
