Resistance is not futile.
techno ludite:
Hi all.
Been lurking for a while and seeing some of the project posts by you all are amazing, one thing that I have picked up on though is :worthless: so here are a few of mine, the first is my spacious workshop ( 7ft x 5ft brick shed outside), next is my 'Primus No 70' petrol stove, next is the replacement travelling cap I had to make for it to stop the petrol from disapearing.
My last project was to finish my 10H and GLR boiler last year both run well, the next will be a southworth engines small vertical steam pump for it, if I finish that this year the next will be the 'Greenly' undertype as in the progress series facsimile booklet.
I can turn my hand to many things provided they,
(a) run on steam
(b) involve fire
(c) made from metal
I will try and post pics as I go along.

Hi Techno,
Welcome to the collective then if it's futile to resist. :borg:
Cozy shop you have there. Can't wait to see more pics of your projects. Please post in the Gallery section or the Project's section if you are going to do a build thread. Thanks.
Regards,
Bernd
Rob.Wilson:
HI and Welcome techno ludite
Thats a very nice compact shop you have there  Are you a fireman or just into hats
Nice job restoring the stove  Looking forward to seeing the under type build , don't see them built to often
Cheers Rob

The hats are for the inbuilt solar panel, as I suffer from 'pop' syndrome ( pillow or plughole is where my hair tends to end up ) thats what I say to the barber anyway. The undertype was acquired from stuart turners back in the 80's before all the model side went to cheddar models, its nice to know my brother had at least one decent job back then working in the inspection dept for them.
Anywho you didn't hear from me.

Hi Techno
Welcome to the collective :borg:
Took me a few minutes to get the "solar panel" joke... finally got it.
Nice job on the cap for the stove.
Eric
