Rob, I knew you could do it..... Eventually! Crackin` job! In fact, Poetry in Metal......  Blummin well done :D David D |
Bluechip:
Hi Rob I had every confidence that you would crack it ...  Ignore the comments off-stage from (S)Nottingham. (Hawk, Spit, P'toing). Try a search on Snotingaham    Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts. Winston S. Churchill said that, ... err, ..not to me personally, ... and I think it was while he was still alive .. I can hear the engine running ... Dave BC |
dsquire:
Rob I have been following along with this and have got quite an education in the art of casting and mold making. You have had a couple of goes at the casting bit but every try was better and you look to have it beat now. The finished casting sure looks a treat. I am looking forward to watching this come to life under your care with the mill and other pieces of equipment. I'll be watching for future episodes. :ddb: :ddb: For anyone that didn't look up Snotingaham, here is a quote from a google find. "In 1086 the Normans assumed control: they dropped the ‘s’ from Snotengaham, and preserved Sherwood Forest to provide hunting for Norman kings."  Cheers  Don |
