Hi Dean Spot on :thumbup:, with green sand casting all you have to do is re- temper the sand with water, it has a green bond . The sand dose deteriorate with use so you just add more sand to the pile to freshen it up , the hotter the metal the quicker the clay in the sand breaks down and the life of the sand is reduced .
