Hi Jeroen;
What a lovely engine, and as a bonus, a great runner too.  You certainly do beautiful work.
Very nice!

I'd go for a set of plans, too.

Hello Jeroen,

No doubt your father will be very pleased to receive such a beautiful present, more so as it was made by you specially for him!

I've been making some initial efforts towards one of these engines and have found a good way to cut the glass tubes - get some of those cheap Dremel diamond cutting discs, mount a rotary tool on the lathe compound and the glass tube in the chuck. With the tube and the disc rotating contrary-wise, advance the compound slowly with a drip of either water or WD40 and you will get a clean cut. (took a lot of broken glass to come up with this!)

I would love to get a set of plans on this.

Best,
Mike
