I have studied Dean's site very much. I would love to be able to make those boring tools using the lathe mounted mills only I am not sure if I would get the desired results. Dean has inspired many of my mods so far.

Never say "can't". You'll defeat yourself before you start.

Just went to his sight to take a look at what your talking about. I see you mean the "boring head". That would be a bit of a task to take on. From the pics I've seen from what you did I'd say give it a try. Dean has it written so anybody can follow the build. Just take your time and make one part at a time.

Hey I screrwed up a part today for my CNC mod. It was a very simple part too. That isn't going to stop me from carrying on.

Ahh its really not about messin up the part so much as burning up the cutter....lol I didn say can't for the record :lol:
