Typical Sherpa van, can't even do rocket propelled properly!  Mind you, that little lurch it gives at about 3s is probably as far as it ever moved under it's own steam....

You don't need to have acetylene or propane for a potent explosion though: Here's a few volts of electricity and a few gallons of oil:

To explode like that, it would most likely have been an oil-filled breaker. It does happen, though, and depressingly frequently, even here in the UK.
